Outgoing and dedicated to narrative, with 17 years experience as a professional actor, presenter, voice over artist and dramaturge.  This includes work on television & radio, as well as documentary theatre pieces on public service reform and the g8 summit with 7:84 theatre company.  This involved interviewing politicians.  Committed to hyperlocal, community and charity work.

2012- 2013 – Weekly Games columnist for Edinburgh Evening News.

1996- present- professional actor, taking roles on stage, television, film and radio all over the UK, and in Italy, Finland and Romania.

2012 – Assistant editor, Subeditor and staff writer on Buzz Magazine at EdinburghNapierUniversity

1998- present- dramaturge and consultant working with emerging and young writers at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh and for Queen Margaret University Edinburgh

1998- present- Presenter and voice over artist, mainly for the BBC.

2006- present- active learning consultant – facilitator and trainer with ForumInteractive, an Edinburgh based training company.

2002- 2006 member of the Edinburgh People’s Festival committee including single handedly programming and producing the festival in 2005.  Chaired ‘Is Art the Product of Politics?’ public debate.

Conceived, organised and ran the charity event Sick Kids Save Point 2010-13, a videogames marathon which has raised over £53,000 for The Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. This has also included running the event blogwww.sickkidssavepoint.com

 

Nominated for a Sick Kids Award 2013.

Adapted interviews with residents into the documentary play ‘Sky High and After That’ for the Citizen’s theatre, Glasgow in 2006

Adapted journalist Aiden Smith’s book ‘Heartfelt’ into a play for Leith festival, which sold out in 2007 & 2008
